CURTAIN MEASURING GUIDE
You can DOWNLOAD and PRINT this guide and use it to fill in your sizes while you measure. Curtain poles are both functional and decorative and can enhance the appearance of a window. Before ordering you will need to calculate the exact length of pole required. If you are replacing and existing pole, just measure the length of that pole.
Measurement "A" is the distance you would like the pole to go past the window frame on the left side.
Measurement "B" is The distance of the window frame.
Measurement "C" is the distance you would like the pole to go past the window frame on the right side.
Normally the distances "A" and "C" are equal, however, your window may be in a corner or over a door and the curtain may be required to go just to one side. Carefully measure each distance and add them together, this will give you the length of curtain pole you require.
We require measurements in metres and centimeters, if your measurements are in inches, multiply the inches by 2.54, this will give you the length in centimeters, divide this then by 100 to give you the size in metres.
Example 100 inches x 2.54 = 254 divided by 100 = 2.54 Metres
Our curtain poles are stocked in standard sizes and are easy to cut to your required measurements, so if your length required is 2.30 Metres, order the nearest size up which may be 2.40 Metres.
